Accessibility

Math practice should be easier to use.

SteadySteps is designed around native Apple and Android controls and built-in accessibility settings. We review the common path from first launch and subscription choices through placement, practice, parent tools, and settings.

Our approach

Accessibility support in SteadySteps

These design measures describe the current product approach. They are not a claim that every platform accessibility behavior has completed final physical-device verification.

VoiceOver, TalkBack, and voice access

Primary controls use meaningful names, values, and hints. Decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology so the important content is easier to navigate.

Larger Text

Key instructions, questions, answers, purchase choices, and parent guidance use scalable text and layouts intended to remain usable at larger accessibility sizes.

More than color

Practice levels, answer feedback, progress, and selected states pair color with words, symbols, position, or values so color is not the only signal.

Reduced Motion

Supported transitions and celebrations respond to the system Reduce Motion setting. This website also removes nonessential motion when that preference is enabled.

Tell us what is difficult

Accessibility feedback is welcome.

Include your device model, operating system version, the assistive feature you use, and the screen where the issue occurred. Please leave out a child’s name or learning records.
